Why 'Thameside'?
There is a separate, but closely related, 'Wallingford U3A' that
is centred in Crowmarsh, Wallingford, and was established in 1983. This quickly reached
capacity, and so a large waiting list built up. As a result a second U3A branch was
formed taking the name Thameside (Wallingford) U3A. The two groups work closely together
and sometimes share outings and activities. See Outings Page
