2012 European Holiday including the Floriade World Horticultural Expo. 2012, Holland

A day will be spent at the Floriade, which is the highlight of the trip, is one of the largest horticultural events in the world and staged every 10 years in Holland.
Journey by executive coach via Dover to the 4*Maritim Hotel at Gelsenkirchen for 4 nights. on half board accommodation. Other visits include the 17thC Castle Arcen, Castle Dyck built on 4 islands in the 17thC with a garden designed by Thomas Blaidie. A day will be spent in Cologne with a guided tour of the Cathedral, the Roman Tower and the Old Town Houses and a visit to Schloss Augustusberg at Bruhl. On the final day, en route to Calais, leisure time will be spent in Ghent.
