Social Events
- Coffee Mornings are held on the first Friday of the month between10.30am and 12.00
noon. All members are invited to enjoy coffee (or tea) and to chat with friends and
acquaintances. The coffee mornings also provide an opportunity to exchange ideas
about new groups and areas of interest
- The Monthly Speakers’ Meeting, which takes place on the third Wednesday of each month
at 2.00pm in the Baptist Church, Wallingford is open to all Members of the branch
and to potential new members wishing to find out more. The meeting is an opportunity
for announcements on U3A business. Members are then addressed by an invited speaker,
and this is followed by tea. coffee and biscuits.
- A Garden Party will again be in August this year. The Garden Parties have kindly
been hosted by members with a large enough garden! The last was on 17 August 2011

- A Christmas Lunch is held each year, early in January. The next is on Friday 6 January
2012.
There is also a Programme of Outings which take place in most months, and Thameside
(Wallingford) U3A also receives invitations to join activities organised by Wallingford
