Who are our Members?

Members of Thameside (Wallingford) U3A are people living in and around Wallingford who have retired from full-time employment and are interested in keeping their minds active, meeting like-minded individuals, following special interests, hobbies and pastimes and taking part in joint activities in a convivial atmosphere.

A small annual fee is charged which covers the organisation of Social Events and includes  national membership, insurance, the U3A Magazines, the branch Newsletter,  and membership of the Thames Valley Network.

The number of Thameside (Wallingford) U3A Members is circa 300.
New Members are always welcome

What does it cost?

The annual Membership Fee is £12.50, due in April.

Members are asked to Gift Aid their fee whenever possible. Thameside (Wallingford ) U3A is a registered charity.

How Thameside U3A is organised

At the Annual General Meeting (AGM) which is held in May, members elect the Thameside (Wallingford) U3A Officers and Committee for the coming year.

The last AGM was held on Wednesday 19 May 2010 at the Regal Centre, Wallingford. The AGM re-appointed Mark Phillips as  Chairman and other members of the Committee were re-appointed. The current membership is shown below.
